Willem Kruidhof (1950) is an experienced regional economic development specialist and Partner of ECORYS Netherlands Regio, Strategie en Ondernemerschap. Willem has extensive experience of more than 30 years in regional social economic development, enterprise development, spin-ff promotion, regional innovation strategies and employment projects.

He was head of an urban office for economic development, vice president of a regional development agency, CEO of a Business & Innovation Centre, international consultant on technology transfer and he also acted as entrepreneur for more than 10 years. He is moderator of workshops on a diversity of subjects. At this moment he prepares publications in the field of urban innovation strategies and City-DNA based on actual research projects in co-operation with Prof. Dr. Gert-Jan Hospers of Nijmegen University.
