Portret photo Gerbrand van BorkGerbrand van Bork (1969) is economist and project manager for ECORYS Netherlands and Manager Business Development for ECORYS Turkey.

His working experience is more than 15 years in the expertise areas regional development, transport and environment. Gerbrand has worked on many economic impact and feasibility studies, evaluations and training projects in these areas in a range of countries. He is an experienced training manager, trainer and guest lecturer. He is currently guest lecturer in EU Funds for Ankara University and Middle East Technical University (METU) in Turkey.

He has given guest lectures on Real Estate in Eindhoven University, Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) in Erasmus University Rotterdam and scenario constructing in Utrecht University. He has carried out a large number of training courses for Structural Funds and the Instrument for Pre-Accession (IPA) in all phases of Programme and Project Cycle Management and in CBA. Countries were he provided training courses in these subjects were the Netherlands, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania, Slowak Republic, Czech Republic, Albania, Croatia, Latvia and Turkey. He has managed training projects in the Netherlands, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic, Albania and Turkey. Also he has delivered specialized sectoral training courses in all phases of Project Cycle Management for Cohesion Funds and IPA for the sectors regional development, transport and environment. Finally he has facilitated workshops on project development and Cost Benefit Analysis in the Netherlands.
