Training  Smart and efficient project delivery through Public Private Partnerships

Introduction

Our Public Private Partnerships (PPP) training program offers participants a range of training modules each of which intends to provide specific knowledge and skills for the successful development of PPP. Different modules can be tailored and combined to your needs. So whether you want to know more about developing PPPs from e.g. a policy, financial or sector perspective, our PPP training program can accommodate you.

Who is this course designed for?
Our tailor-made courses are useful for:

  • Officials from national, regional and local public authorities;
  • Private sector stakeholders e.g. attached to the construction, energy, water and waste sector;
  • Officials from financial institutions,
  • Officials from multilateral or bilateral international organizations.

 Subjects Why a PPP  training?
With public resources limited and constrained by public debt policies, Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) can provide an excellent instrument to meet investment needs through private funding. Although private financing comes at a cost, PPP can enable governments to establish infrastructure ambitions in an effective and efficient manner, while spreading their spending over longer periods of time. Various studies have shown that PPPs are effective in delivering projects on time and within budget. As PPPs are complex, it is important for all stakeholders, both public and private, to acquire up to date understanding and skills.

Aim

Objective
To introduce participants into the principles of PPP and familiarize them with the potential benefits of PPP and approaches to successfully implement PPPs.

Approach
Our modular approach forms the basis of our training offer. Different modules can be tailored and combined to your needs for example in a 1 to 3 week integral PPP training.
