| | | | | | Subjects | | Why a PPP training? With public resources limited and constrained by public debt policies, Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) can provide an excellent instrument to meet investment needs through private funding. Although private financing comes at a cost, PPP can enable governments to establish infrastructure ambitions in an effective and efficient manner, while spreading their spending over longer periods of time. Various studies have shown that PPPs are effective in delivering projects on time and within budget. As PPPs are complex, it is important for all stakeholders, both public and private, to acquire up to date understanding and skills. | | | | | | Aim | | Objective To introduce participants into the principles of PPP and familiarize them with the potential benefits of PPP and approaches to successfully implement PPPs. Approach Our modular approach forms the basis of our training offer. Different modules can be tailored and combined to your needs for example in a 1 to 3 week integral PPP training. | | | | | | | Gains | | Your benefits Our courses will enable you to make use of the potential benefits of PPP. For example by demonstrating how to develop your PPP project from start to finish, how to prepare your country’s policy, regulations and institutions for PPP, by discussing in depth issues from a financial, legal or sector perspective, or by displaying the use of specific useful instruments such as financial modelling.
