Dr. Viera Spanikova is a highly qualified professional with more than 10 years training experience as a training manager, training organiser, training developer and a trainer. Her key areas of training expertise cover: Public Finance Management, Structural Funds, Evaluation, and Business Plan Development.

Her training expertise is strengthened by her extensive professional experience in these fields. For illustration, she was an adviser to the Ministry of Finance on Public Finance Management issues in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Latvia, Russia and Slovakia. She elaborated the methodology on the evaluation of a country’s national funds based on that of the evaluation of Structural Funds of the European Commission, and was a project manager and an evaluator of the Interim Evaluation of the Transition Facility Funds in Slovakia under which more than 60 projects were evaluated in two rounds. Furthermore, she supervised an elaboration of business plans of different bodies throughout Europe.

Mrs Spanikova is an effective user of interactive training methods. She actively involves participants in her training session in order to maximise the training impact on them.
