Drawing upon our extensive knowledge base, accumulated from work across the EU on city regional growth strategies and rural socio-economic development, ECORYS - in partnership with Wageningen Business School - is pleased to offer a new set of training modules for 2010 centred around the theme of "connecting town and countryside".

Modules in development include:

• a workshop considering policy and practice in relation to the emerging new paradigm for rural areas in relation to climate change services;
• a detailed investigation of the dynamics of the urban-rural fringe – the places where urban and rural collide;
• the role of rural areas as active contributors to the dynamics of city regions within the framework of the 4Ps (Product, People, Process, Profile).
