Ecorys Netherlands has obtained the ISO14001 certificate per 14 February 2011. ISO14001 is a standard for the appraisal of environmental management systems and is recognized worldwide. Getting the certificate is an acknowledgement of the quality of Ecorys’ CSR and environmental policy.

Ecorys Netherlands has obtained the ISO14001 certificate per 14 February 2011. ISO14001 is a standard for the appraisal of environmental management systems and is recognized worldwide. Getting the certificate is an acknowledgement of the quality of Ecorys’ CSR and environmental policy.

Ecorys Netherlands is one of the first members of the VBO (Association for Policy Research, Dutch: Vereniging voor Beleidsonderzoek) that has the ISO14001 certificate. The VBO aims to improve the quality of policy research by setting and developing high-quality professional standards and optimizing the general quality of research and related services. Getting the ISO14001 certificate can be seen as an extension of these aims.

Government institutions increasingly demand demonstrable and tested environmental policies from companies who tender for projects. In this respect the ISO14001 certification is a clear asset.
