The training provides an analysis of both budget processes and the budget documentation itself. The focus is on: (i) planning and budget processes at the national and sub-national levels and their linkages; (ii)  execution of plans and budgets and entry points for analysis; (iii) Methods and tools for analysing and monitoring national and subnational budgets.

ECORYS' expertise
ECORYS has provided similar courses during the implementation of large Technical Assistance Projects on Public Finance Management in various countries in Central and Eastern Europe (Latvia, Bulgaria, Slovakia), Russia and in a number of developing countries in Africa. Participants included budget analysts of ministries of finance, financial specialists and sub-national levels of government. Moreover, training has been provided to staff of development partners.
