Port Finance International Workshop, London PDF Print E-mail

8 November 2012 - Port Finance International is organising a Port Finance International Workshop in London (UK) on 13+14 March 2012. Trainers for the workshop are Ecorys' Gideon van Toledo and Eric van Drunen.

In the context of increasingly limited public resources and mounting public debt, PPP can provide an excellent instrument to meet investment needs by tapping private funding. Although private financing comes at a cost, PPP enables governments to realise infrastructure ambitions in an effective and efficient manner, while spreading their spending over longer periods of time. Various studies (Flyberg, MottMacDonald, Allen Consulting) have shown that PPPs can effectively deliver projects on time and within budget. PPPs are not difficult if all stakeholders, public and private, draw on the latest expertise and experience to ensure effective implementation.

This 2 day training offers you insight in what Public Private Partnerships (PFI or PPPs) are, what is needed to successfully develop PPPs, what are the most important PPP models for ports and what has been achieved with them.

Spaces are limited to 25 delegates only to ensure that all those participating receive a truly tailored and interactive experience. Register now to secure your place now.
