14 June 2010 - ECORYS Academy will soon be organising the second seminar of the European Alert Seminars, "Implementation Services Directive".

From 1 March onwards, the Services Directive has to be implemented in the Member States of the EU. Together with the Faculty of Law, Amsterdam University, the ECORYS Academy has designed this interactive seminar for civil servants, policy-makers and politicians in the public sector. The recent implementation of the Services Directive has enormous consequences for national, regional and local policy-making, because it further liberalises the freedom of settlement and the provision of services. Which services are affected by this Directive and what are the exceptions? What is the exact difference between settlement and provision of services? What is the impact of the Lex Silencio Positivo and what does it exactly mean? During this seminar you will be informed about the legal consequences of this Directive and what it means for your organisation.
